Smooth out your quilt panel on top of a piece of batting that's slightly larger than your panel.

Add some glue stick to tack down the fabric to the batting.

Machine baste the panel to the batting close to the edges of the panel.

Put the quilt back and the top right sides together.  Sew the layers together, leaving a 6" gap for turning.  Trim the corners.

Turn the quilt through the hole.

Press the edges, then topstitch all around the sides close to the edge.

Mark on the back at regular points with a fabric marker.

Thread a large needle with a double length of embroidery thread.  Sew from one point to another.
