Sew your own 7 minute DIY zipper bag with this beginner friendly sewing tutorial. You won't believe how fast you can make this DIY lined zipper bag!

Cut rectangles of fabric as wide as a basic nylon zipper and about 7" deep.  Use fun cotton prints for a happy zipper bag!

Sandwich the zipper between the outer fabric and the lining.

Sandwich the zipper between the outer fabric and the lining.

Stitch through both layers with a zipper foot.  Let your zipper foot ride along the zipper teeth's edge.

Sandwich the zipper between the lining and the outer layer on the second side of the zipper.

Stitch through the layers just like you did on the first side.

Fold the layers right sides together.  Keep the zipper open.

Stitch around the outside with a 1/2" seam allowance.  Leave a hole in the lining.

Clip the corners at a 45 degree angle.

Turn the bag through the hole.

Give everything a good press.  Keep the hole's seam allowances even with the edges.

Stitch the hole closed.
