A sneaky loophole!

Helen’s Closet is offering 1 copy of the Winslow Culottes.  Hang on a minute?!  Culottes are pants, right?!  Yes, culottes are pants, wise reader.  I’m giving you this one opportunity to cheat on this challenge here.  Yes, you must make 2 dresses per the rules, but, if you are that person that says, but Elizabeth, I HATE dresses!  I never wear dresses!  Can I not make dresses and still join this challenge.  Normally, I’d say, no, obviously, but today, I’m feeling different.  Just for you, here’s your out.

See how much Helen looks like she’s wearing a skirt?! #secrettrousers

You may make a jumpsuit using a culottes pattern, and I highly suggest Helen’s amazing pattern.  You will have to hack a bodice to fit the culottes in order to make a jumpsuit, but it’s your loophole.  The trick is, it MUST look like a dress from across the room to work for this challenge.  Oh, the twist!

Hart’s Fabric is offering a $50 gift card to one of the winners.  You may also purchase fabric for the challenge from them for a 15% discount using the code Day2Night.
