Today I’m participating in Sew Mama Sew’s Giveaway Day. It’s been a while since I’ve thrown my hat in the ring, but Giveaway Day is always fun and a great chance to meet others while giving people a chance to win some fun sewing swag!
Today I’m giving away 3 patterns and 1 yard of a beautiful tomato red and white print knit fabric. I’m linking below to Patternreview so that you can peruse the reviews of these patterns to give you some inspiration!
First up is Butterick 5677, a colorblocked knit dress pattern. This ultra mod body conscious dress has cap sleeves and a back zipper. The multiple seams allow for a lot of possibilities for colorblocking or patternblocking. It would look fantastic in any combination of ponte knit fabrics.
Next is McCall’s 5936, a peplum tailored jacket pattern (size 4-12). With a open lapel and feminine peplum, this jacket is about as girly as you could possibly want. It would make a beautiful spring jacket using the cap sleeves version in linen!
Then we have Simplicity 4076, a knit top with lots of different options. There’s a twist top, a scoopneck with over the bust gathers, and a crossover v neck view with bell or flutter sleeves. With so many options, it’s not hard to understand why it was named a best pattern of 2008 and later inducted into the pattern hall of fame at Patternreview. This one is sized 16-24.
Lastly, I have a yard of this lovely red and white speckled print rayon knit fabric to give away. I bought it originally from Harts’ Fabric. It has a nice, smooth hand with soft recovery and is semi-opaque. It would make a fun t-shirt or tank that can be a real statement piece in your wardrobe.
One random winner will get the patterns and the fabric. The winner will be contacted by email and have 48 hours to claim the prize via email (email@example.com) and also be announced on the blog. This giveaway is open to US residents aged 18 and over. No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
Enter below on the Giveaway Tools form. Good luck!
